Safest + quickest way to sell bag?

Hi, I have a Marc Jacobs "Big Big apple" tote in ruby red ostrich grained leather (attached pics so you can see it). I foolishly bought it for £980. I've had it over a year now and to be honest, absolutely hate it. I've never even worn it out. I've tried to sell it on FB groups for £400 about half a dozen times, but had no luck. It's a really unpopular bag, I've never seen anybody but me own it, why did I spend £980 on the most hated MJ bag?!

Anyway, I've been scammed BOTH times I sold bags on eBay, so that's really not an option (3rd time lucky, I know, but I just think I'd be foolish to support eBay after loosing over £800 there already).

Is there a quick+safe way I can sell the bag? A company would be best TBH, as there's no/very little risk of being scammed. I don't wanna sell for less than £250

Have you considered a consignment store, or offering it up to your friends via facebook? I know that some people have done that and they had success with it.

I'd go the consignment route in the UK... any interest from London resale shops/vintage shops
there? Isn't there a fairly popular one near Harrods?

Are there are sites in the UK like we have here in the US such as Craig's List?

For you to ship this bag to the US is probably not going to be worth it & will cut
into your profit, IYKWIM

What is ostrich grained leather? The photo you posted is just normal grained leather, not ostrich.
