We talked about these bags in the Twinsburg fashion show thread here. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/ss23-twinsburg-fashion-show.1055777/

Gucci just posted this on Instagram, although the bags are not up yet on the US website. As I recall there was a black, green and a black with gold like flowers on it which were shown on runway. And before anyone says it…the Gucci saddle design predates Dior. (A fact I found interesting).
These look gorgeous but I am guessing prices will be high. Hoping we have some members who purchase when available.

It’s already available on the EU site, but you have to log in and use the search. The white is 2800 euros and red/blue 2980 euros. It’s a nice bag, but the price is too much in my opinion. (I just looked at a preowned Chanel Boy at the same price and in excellent condition.)

Info and some pics

The 'stirrup' is the catch

I love the red/blue, but I must say, it's quite small for my needs, and I am seeing more value for money in this season's Blondies.

Just realized measurements were in your post. I think it’s small for my needs as well. I’m trying to avoid buying bags that are just slightly too small for my needs (made this mistake one too many times).

Still not on US website.

Originally, there used to be 2 sizes, we could possibly see a larger version. Fingers crossed.

I noticed today they removed the saddles, :wondering:

Hello! It is on the US website currently, not sure how long it has been. Has anyone purchased or seen in person? No stores in my area. Thanks

Yes, I was underwhelmed by the object ≠ ∆ X √ Ω ≈ price

Bottomline, I think they priced this bag incorrectly too optimistically. It's roughly same price as the reg. leather/suede Med Blondie, a bit more than the reg leather Horse-bit 1955 and £1K more than a M Aphrodite. Comparison 1. The Med Blondie is a very complex bag, has multiple strap options, has lots of hardware and is fairly complex to make. Comparison 2. I'm not sure I want to buy a Horse-bit 1955 (new campaign) for £2.4K as I bought mine when they were around £2K 2 years ago, but at least it's a very classic bag. £2.6K for a fairly small 'extra' bag is too much. Comparison 3. Against something like an M Aphrodite approx. £1.6, no contest, it's simplicity of the Aphrodite belies it's usability/versatility.

In my world not only is £1K still a lot of money, but I have to work out which bag has to go in order for another to come in. I don't think the saddle bag is better than my last three purchases (above). I'd actually rather have a new Blondie (which I'm really enjoying using)

I was really looking forward to this bag, and just saw the bag in person. It is beautiful, but I can't get myself to pay $4,000 for it. These design houses have lost their minds a bit with the pricing. Also, the bag doesn't really work as a crossbody (and I'm relatively petite). If you try to crossbody it, the bag sits too high on the hip and looks odd because of its square shape. IMO it can really only work as a shoulder bag.

Exactly the way I felt on both counts
