Sad story with a happy ending + reveal :o)

So my first RM arrived in poor shape.

The leather was broken in, the feet were scratched up and other issues...

but the wonderful customer service at this online boutique offered me a generous coupon towards a next purchase, assuring me that this never happens (the bag might have been used and returned, but they weren't aware of that when they sent it). Anyway, they more than redeemed themselves with this aforementioned coupon and I received this today in the mail:

Plum is the most underrated color of RM ever it has the best leather and the color is beautiful! Congrats and it is interesting about hte bird lining where did you get it?

Congrats. My first thought on seeing the pictures too was that I didn't know it came with the bird lining. Interesting.

About the lining, I guess I was lucky? Maybe it was a fall special edition?

I am still getting to know RM (but it's QUICKLY turning into an addiction).

I don't want to say the name of the boutique because they really helped me out a LOT after the first bag was a total BLEH, and I don't want to bad mouth them, their customer service was amazing and they did everything in their power to help me out with the first bag and give them another chance.

BTW,

I just moved my stuff into it and OMG I am in love.

I never would have considered NIKKI before, I'm more of a tote/ satchel type of girl but DEAR GOD, this is HEAVEN.

I really love the way it looks when it has contents inside of it, so freaking beautiful.

It goes to show, what looks like a bad situation can easily turn out to be a blessing.

I returned it only because it was so close in color to my Wine Nikki for me to justify keeping both. It was a hard decision! ....the leather was great!
