so I've posted here a couple of times about the nomad and the swagger...in love with both bags...unfortunately, for me, they were way to heavy when I put my stuff in them...makes me so sad because they are both gorgeous bags....so, I went back to the drawing board to see what else coach had to scratch my itch! I went for the scout hobo in black with gold hardware...I love it....everything fits in it and it's still not heavy...I think it's a great bag...I also got a great key fob to put on it...it's got a lock and some other dangly retro charms on it and looks great on the bag...I still miss the look and craftsmanship of the nomad and swagger, but, that being said, I love the slouch of the scout, the outside pockets and the hardware....any other scout lovers out there?

I think the Scout is lovely also but don't own one.....could you please post a pic of yours and/or a mod shot?

Oh the Scout is a really pretty bag! I saw (and petted and couldn't put down) the black cherry in suede and exotic patent. Compared to the Swagger, I dare say I liked this one better.

It is a gorgeous bag. I have tried it on quite a few times, but I don't think it is the right size for all my stuff. But never say never. The colors are really pretty.

Scouts are great bags, the front pocket is awesome! Sometimes the most popular bags just don't suit, doesn't mean there are not equally good/comparable bags.

I love swaggers but man that is a heavy bag! i just don't think i could handle it on a day to day.

LOL. It is a commitment for sure leaving the house for a day out with a Swagger!! I totally agree though. Sometimes comfort and accessibility rules. And it is beautiful too! Can't go wrong!

I carry a TON of stuff amd it fits everything comfortably. I carry a large wallet, makeup bag, keys, phone, hand cream, notebook, pens, mints amd a couple of other things. Will try to post pics over the next couple of days.

This is what is so great about Coach- having so many options to choose from. One may not work for one person, but work beautifully for another! I find when the Swagger gets heavy (I've travelled with mine twice) the long strap is the answer. It definitely helps! And the Scout is a great hobo, I love the suede version myself....

I have the Scout in oxblood and I love it. It fits much more than you think and the multiple ways you can carry it are great. The outside pockets are awesome too. It should be a law that all bags have outside pockets!
