Hi everyone and happy new year!

I’ve been eyeing the new Sac Plat PM and haven’t found much information online or on the forum aside from a couple of threads discussing vintage versions of this bag.

I’d love to hear what you all think about the Sac Plat PM and which version would you choose: classic monogram or black epi?

For me, I think the bag is very chic when hand held but functional since it has an adjustable strap. I could see the PM with the strap working well as a shoulder bag too but could be a bit awkward cross body given the size of the bag. I also like that there is not much vachetta on the monogram version, the thin profile, the bag can stand up on its own and that it is a classic shape for the brand.

I alternate my work bags between the Sully MM, Graceful MM, and Neverfull GM; and I carry a purse organizer in each of these bags which holds my wallet, phone, keys, etc. and not much else (ie, no separate cosmetic pouch).

Any opinions would be really helpful.

Thanks!!

I am an Épi fan and I choose Épi over anything every time, BUT I very much dislike the new diagonal pattern. Kinda works on the Twist, but on large rectangular bags, not really. And also those huge logo stamps. Especially on the Noir one, not nice.
When I first saw the press photos of the Monogram, it was like OK, but nothing special. But when I saw it in person: WOW. It is way nicer in person. I have the overall impression that this bag style plays better in canvas.

Thank you Bull! I agree, the red LV stamp on the bag seems out of place hence why I’m leaning more towards the monogram.

With that said, I wonder why the bag is as expensive as it is when you think about the price point on the Pochette Metis or Artsy. Both of these bags, in my opinion, have a bit more design going on if that makes sense.

Yes, I totally understand it. As I use to say, you get "more bag" for the money. I'd pick the Artsy from the 3, then the Métis. The Sac Plat is the most basic. And not as iconic as the original version was. Still a very nice bag, but I would prefer the others.
