Honestly, I was just going in for a repair. But this jewelry curse follows me everywhere I go! So my lovely local jeweler just happened to have these beauties behind the counter when I mentioned that I’m starting the search for a pair of yellow gold earrings, preferably with some bling and, hey, a colored stone thrown in wouldn’t hurt!They appear to be from the 1940’s. 14k and platinum. .60 tcw carats of very fine colored rubies and .60 tcw Old European cut nice diamonds. No posts but they could easily be added. My jeweler thought they looked Cartier but we couldn’t find a hallmark which is great because it lowers the price.
These are not for everyone. Definitely a vintage vibe but as I get older I am liking vintage and antique!

Oh, ps, I would wear in my everyday rotation not just for dressing up.
