Ruby and Rubisse...are they the same red?

Ruby = Rubisse, from F/W 08.

So they are the same colour but why the different names?
It is pretty confusing since one color has several names: 1) the French name, 2) the English name, 3) and maybe another name that a store or certain SA uses. For example: an 07 yellow color was Jaune, but in English it was sometimes referred to as Marigold. Hope these help:

I think they just try to confuse us.....like the Sapphire (which I think of as blue) is purple and the Amethyste (which I think of as purple) is fuschia or hot pink! Don't feel bad, we all get confused with Bal colors.
