Rubis in Lindy PHW vs Kelly clutch

I was being offered these two bags yesterday but I pass on the Lindy and got the kelly cut clutch.

I am asking for Lindy in Mykonos. SA will call me when she got it

Now I am home thinking. Did I make the right decision? Should I get the Lindy instead of the clutch?

What would you guys do? (besides buying both of course )
or is this not a good color at all?

I like variety of colors in my closet and I just started to collect Hermes. I don't want to have same color in my closet.

Opinions?

If money was not the object I would have gotten the lindy. More useful. With clutches I tend to use them the least if at all.

Thanks. The clutch looks so chic when I tried it on. That's why I bought the clutch. The Lindy looks great too but I am thinking of getting Lindy in Mykonos. I am not sure how it looks IRL but maybe better than rubis?

Btw, I like your hermes avatar. It has so many variety of colors

hehheh ... I am hunting for a Lindy in Rubis so of course, I would choose the Lindy Moreover, it's getting hard to score a Lindy (at least where I am staying).

For a clutch I think Rubis is lovely, a nice pop of colour. A Mykonos Lindy would be a great choice as well, then you are well started on your H rainbow!

A clutch is not something you can use daily. I prefer the Lindy. Maybe not Rubis but other color.

Depends! if you will use the clutch much or not? Also, do you want and will you use two lindys?or do you really want the Mykonos? As a fellow recent Hermes collector, you don't want to make expensive mistakes early on. I have one lindy, my first Hermes purchase, I love it but don't lust after another one, as I got the colour I wanted, and am content with it. Resist taking whatever is offered, you may regret it in time. Only you can decide, based on your lifestyle and bag style preferences.

I might just get the Lindy but I love this clutch but this clutch is not practical. That's the thing. it's kinda too small but it looks great. I have ML chanel and clutch which I barely use. My chanel clutch is untouch until today.
I keep using my jumbo, maxi or medium JM (a little bit smaller than jumbo but bigger
than ML size).
Maybe I should just go for Lindy. I can use it more.

I am not the biggest Lindy fan but love the Kelly clutch so I say keep it. However, if you are looking for a more casual day bag then I presume the Lindy would be more appropriate....but one cannot deny the chic-ness of that KC!!!
