Hello everyone,

I am hoping to purchase a new bracelet in the near future and cannot decide between the Tiffany's RTT rose gold bead bracelet or the David Yurman buckle bracelet with pave diamonds. I currently wear 2 small rose gold loves and a thin rose gold JUC with diamonds. (I would post pictures, but my loves are currently being resized.)

I already own 2 silver bead bracelets from Tiffany's and love them, so I know I would get a lot of wear out of the rose gold one. My husband also prefers that one, as he says the buckle on the DY bracelet reminds him of a monkey lol. When I tried it on in store, I loved the look of it, but when looking back at pictures with my other bracelets, it seems to be a lot of the same colour, since almost everything is solid rose gold.

I've tried on the DY one as well, and also love how it looks. I like that it has diamonds, which breaks up the solid gold look. But it's definitely a fancier bracelet, so part of me wonders if I'll want to wear it all the time like my Cartier ones.

Please let me know which bracelet you think would be the better option. Tiffany's seems like the "safer" choice (and I do prefer Tiffany's in general) but I don't own any David Yurman and this is a beautiful piece to add to my collection. I also feel like the DY would be pretty to wear alone!

I have almost the same dilemma.
I want to get either RTT yellow gold bead bracelet (also have 2 silver ones, wore them every day for 2 years, now in a position to get the gold version), Cartier trinity bracelet (the small version on a chain) OR RTT heart tag necklace in yellow gold.....I don't have any Cartier pieces yet but RTT is my absolute favorite collection from Tiffany.

So my vote for you would be Tiffany because the bracelet is adorable! David Yurman looks nice but it's not something I'd buy personally.
Let us know what you end up getting!

The DY is very pretty but some of their bracelets & necklaces can be very thin and flimsy which I find disappointing especially for the price.

Yes, go in to try. Items in photos can appear more substantial than in real life.
If the DY one was hefty enough, I'd go for it. I am not good with clasp bracelets, takes forever for me to put on lol.

I would get the RTT bead bracelet. If you wanted to break up all the RG, maybe add one of your silver ones to the stack as well. I feel like most people either are all about DY, or aren’t. You seem to really like Tiffany, and already love that style bracelet. So it’ll work well for you, imo.

Also DY silver pieces are often more hefty than the same models/styles in gold ( didn't realize that initially)

Yes, I did notice that some of their gold pieces seemed quite flimsy, which was surprising. I've tried on the rose gold buckle bracelet and found it to be reasonably substantial, though.

I have tried on both of these and they are both really nice. I guess it comes down to if you want a bracelet that has a lot of movement on your wrist or if you prefer a bangle that is more stationary.
This is a really good point! I'm currently wearing my thin JUC and a silver Tiffany's bead bracelet, and the bead bracelet definitely gets "tangled" in the JUC a couple of times a day. I don't think that would happen if my loves were in between them, but it's something to think about...

I know, the bead bracelet is so pretty, especially in gold! It definitely looks more luxurious than the silver ones (which I also love), so it doesn't seem redundant to have both in one's collection.

I like both, and would need to see what you plan on stacking it with because that could change my opinion, but if it's a solo piece I would choose the Tiffany beaded bracelet.
I plan on wearing it with my 2 small love bracelets in rose gold and my thin JUC in rose gold. However, I do sometimes switch things up, so I definitely want the bracelet to look nice in my stack AND on it's own.

Moxisox, this is such a good idea! I don't know why I never thought about wearing a silver bracelet to break up the rose gold... And it's true, David Yurman was never really on my radar until recently, whereas I've always loved Tiffany's lol.

I have the same issue with my thin JUC and therefore I am mindful of what I stack with it. My stack is currently a Tiffany T wire regular, small Clash, and thin JUC in that order. Otherwise, my JUC would tangle with the T wire.
What I foresee happening if you get the RTT bracelet is that you will end up wearing that or wearing the JUC, because the RTT getting tangled in your JUC would annoy/concern me and I would end up not wearing them together.
The DY is very pretty and has more visual interest than the RTT and even though your stack would be all RG, the texture would add dimension to your stack. I also do not forsee this getting tangled with your JUC so I am assuming these would stack well.
However, I would wait for your bracelets to come back and go into the stores wearing them and stack them and see how it stacks in real life. I find doing that truly helps me.
I vote for the DY bracelet. I am also considering a DY bracelet in RG, as my stack is all RG and I would like to add some visual interest.
