Hello,

I had a sterling silver RTT bead bracelet last year but sold it off, and now I have my eye on the bead bracelet with the rose gold heart:

I wear my thin Love in YG and a YG 3 stone DBTY daily. My wedding band is a Cartier Trinity. I am thinking it all blends in with the mix of metals but I have never mixed yellow gold + sterling silver. Would it look awkward to have a silver+rose gold bracelet thrown in to my bracelet mix?

Does anyone have this bracelet and could you share if the silver tarnishes quite quickly with daily wear? Or would I be better off just buying it in YG to match my other bracelets?

Appreciate pictures!

Thank you :)

I do not have this particular Tiffany item however, I do have various other sterling silver jewelry.

Silver will tarnish if you do not polish it on a regular basis or if you do not wear it often.
If you're wearing silver regularly, especially on your hands/wrist, the natural rubbing of the silver on skin and clothes actually helps polish and prevent tarnishing.
However, the moment you put it away for long periods of time, it will tarnish. Tiffany does offer free cleaning service where you can drop off your jewelry to be cleaned though.

For mixing sterling silver with yellow gold, I don't see why not! That's up to your preference and aesthetic!
What may throw you off is if you wear white gold with sterling silver. And depending if the white gold is rhodium plated or not, there may be a more obvious difference to the naked eye.

[On a personal note, I don't buy sterling silver jewelry anymore because I'm lazy and I don't want to worry about cleaning and maintaining jewelry on a regular or semi-regular basis. Unless, the piece itself is unique and speaks to me, I usually go for white gold if I want the silver look.]

Thanks for the tip. For the reason (basically maintenance) you shared, I am contemplating gg for the yellow gold version of this bracelet.

With mixing metals, maybe the fact it is not gold thats what bugs me. I may need convincing. So back to the drawing board.

Thanks for sharing

Do you wear them daily? I intend to wear mine 24/7. Thanks!

Yes, I would wear both my beaded bracelets 24/7 for weeks at a time until I feeling like switching to something else. They are super comfortable to have on and they are both light but durable at the same time. One is with the blue enamel heart and the enamel is still perfect. I've owned both bracelets for over 5 years and they look very good to date. I polish them with my cleaning cloth purchased from Tiffany from time to time just to bring back the shine.

This is super helpful. thank you for sharing :)

Tried it on yesterday and find the silver too light on me. But the rose gold stacks so well with my Chaumet BML, tried the Small size so it won't overlap. Feels comfortable, too NGL. BTW, didn't know Tiffany's RG is beautiful in person!
I'm kinda considering it but worried that the little heart charm will scratch my BML. :confused1:

I have somewhere the sterling silver bead bracelet... I bought it with the intention of pairing it with my YG Love but after a few wears I felt it looked awkward. It is so light and shiny. Now I own the YG bead bracelet that I wear with my Love and while it is still bright and shiny it goes much better I feel! It isn't as stark of a contrast. I highly recommend this combo. It does move around a lot though. Idk if that will bug you or not. I wear mine for daily going out, but not while at work (because I work with my hands).

Oh I missed the update post somehow ! Congrats on the RG heart. I love the stack paired with the dbty too!

I think the heart has potential to scratch if you are moving around a lot. I don't care much about scratching but do take mine off before bed because while I brush my teeth the heart swings and rattles against my bracelet.

Just an update. I received the RTT bead bracelet in SS with RG heart tag from hubs on X'mas. I am loving it!

The silver breaks up the yellow gold and gives it an edgy look, not to mention - it is so comfortable to wear.

I am thinking of this EXACT combo and was so glad to see your photo. Are you still enjoying the RTT bead bracelet?

I am off to NYC next month and I'm hoping to pick one up to wear with my YG regular sized Love bracelet.
