I'm so excited, i finally took the plunge to order a rouge vif work from aloha rag, and its on its way , and i should receive it on friday~

I wanted to add some pics to this thread of 2 side by side. It was hard to capture the difference but the earlier bag was a little more on the orange side and the leather was a little thicker. The one fform the later shipment was more of a berry red and the leather was still thick but not as thick as the first one that I received.

I love the Rouge Vif color so much. And the leather feels awesome, 2006 leather is a-okay in my book, even the shiny and veiny, thin leather transforms into gorgeous squishy soft leather with tempered veins and mellow shine over time. I just got a RV Day bag. Now it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...in Day Bags:
