Rouge Garance vs. Rouge H

From Orchids's pictures you can see how rouge H varies in color from leather to leather. But IMO, in all the leathers it is an *off* red. Rouge H is to the reds what Ebene is to the browns and raisin is to the purples. [?] I love them all - Rouge H, ebene, and raisin.

Right now, there are both a rouge garance and rouge H kelly in the window of the Wall Street store. You could hop on the acela and see them side by side.
One caveat though - I think the garance is clemence and the rouge H is chevre. However, they are a very good comparison of the two shades. Both beautiful - if somebody said, you can have one of these two as a gift and I had to pick one, I would have a hard time chosing between them. I think I would pick the garance - it feels clearer and cooler to me, for some reason.

thanks everyone I definately love love love rouge garance! Jedi - you are right on - garance is a very clear red. Now if I could decide what bag I would be in good shape (between Bolide 31 or Birkin 30)
