Rose Gold or Yellow Gold??? HELP!

Love the 1st ring. I also like the 3rd ring with opals but it's my experience that opals have a way of disappearing out of rings since they are soft stones and crack easily....one minute they're there and the next, an empty space!

It does really depend upon your skin tone as to whether rose or yellow gold is a flattering choice. Let's say they both flatter you. The rose gold ring is my preference because its really goes well with the garnets and it makes the whole ring seem very unique and individual. Even if they have a few of them made it looks like its a one of a kind piece, which I think is an important element of individual style.

Starbucksqueen -- Garnets are my birthstone too! And I totally agree with you that usually I see garnets paired with yellow gold so when I saw that the jeweler did the garnets with rose gold....I was wowed!

Opals are also extremely sensitive. Not a daily wear stone and you have to be really careful with hitting them against things or detergents or lotions or anything. They are super fussy...
