Hi guys!
I would love your opinion of my choices for an everyday RG necklace. I am working on building the perfect everyday wearable jewelry wardrobe .
I am looking for something with a nice design element to it. Strong enough to stand alone and be layered.
I do not want a statement piece. I want it to work cohesively with my other pieces.
My style is feminine with an edge. I love clean sculpture designs. I have enough VCA Alhambra and want something new and fresh.

Here is what is on my list. If you guys have any other ideas, please post. I hope this can also help anyone else looking for what I am as well.

1. Cartier clash necklace. ( hubby hates this, but who cares, lol.)
2. Bulgari B zero pave pendant. Looks cool with the clasp dangling in front.
3. Cartier pave Juc . Can wear full pave side or flip over to rose gold and pave tips.
4. Cartier Panthere. Love it, but does it get lost? Can you see the cat shape? Panthere bracelet is on my list!!

I had had the panthere necklace and regretted it because you needed a magnifying glass to tell what it was. The idea of it is wonderful but not worth the price. JUC or Clash have presence and even though you don’t want a statement piece, having something you can wear on its own or layered is everything.

If you’re thinking of breaking away from Cartier/VCA/Bvlgari, check out Sorrelina (especially the Tarot collection), Irene Neuwirth, Pomellato, Monica Rich Kosann and Brent Neale.

And if 14k is on your radar, you may consider Jacquie Aiche, Eden Presley and Andrea Fohrman.

Best of luck on your purchase! I can’t wait to see what you get.

Hello! Happy to make a case for the Cartier clash necklace…

I’ve been wearing it most days for over two years now and it is one of my favourite pieces of jewellery. I chose it because I prefer necklaces that “smile” rather form a “V” at the neck as they do when a pendant is worn - it’s just a weird preference that I have for myself- I love the V on others!

IMO it looks great with a shirt and I usually wear it casually / to work. It’s very subtle and I think (hope) it’s an “if you know, you know” piece. I think it ticks the feminine/edgy box and I also like playing with the edges which wiggle when you touch them.

Note that it isn’t as rose as other Cartier pieces so it mixes well with yellow gold, which I prefer.

I would suggest a trip to a boutique to try on. It was love at first sight for me. There’s not much difference in the two sizes apart from the price so I chose the small.

Hope this helps, attaching some recent photos of the necklace in case useful!

My top pick would be the clash necklace. I find the industrial and clean look to be the most versatile. A little edgy but that's the general vibe of the piece anyway.
Also a fan of the Blvgari B. zero, I think it is also very classic and versatile.

I would pass on the JUC and panthere in those versions.
Personally, I think JUC looks best as bracelets, rings, and earrings (in that order).
That version of the panthere is a little small and hard to distinguish. I'd go for the headpiece.

I really like the first necklace you've shown (the Cartier Panthere). The simplistic look makes it very beautiful ❤

My suggestion would be to look at Dinh Van - the Menottes or Maillon collections (or any of them) are gorgeous. They come in different sizes so you can see what works best for layering for you but they are definitely bold enough to stand alone. I have the Menottes in white gold with diamonds and I’m lusting for the Maillon in RG!!

Have you looked at Lana’s Blake in rose gold? It’s very delicate with enough presence. I love mine, it does seem like you want to spend more, perhaps you could save the rest for something else? what I love about her jewelry is that it doesn’t scream who the designer is or it’s not recognizable line, therefore mixing it with other obvious designs such JUC, or Tiffany, etc easier.

Cartier Clash. Looks different - as in not like other branded staples we see everywhere - and more interesting than the other options you‘re considering, imo.
Outside of that I think Dinh Van makes some uncommon and great looking jewellery.
