For those of you that are making a decision about which face and numbers:

My eye doctor told me that I would need reading glasses at age 40. But I made it a bonus 6 years! Just this year, I noticed that I cannot read clothing tags (wash instructions & fabric content) and the yellow pages phone directories.

So if you're in late 30's or will be purchasing your one and only forever rolex - you might want some contrast. Example - black face and diamond markers or white face and black numbers, etc.

My ladies rolex is diamond markers on a white jubilee face. My mid-size is Rhodium Roman which is basically the same color numbers on same color face.

While I love both of these watches, they are not easy to read!

This is so true. My previous Rolex was champagne with gold numerals and I could not see it at all. I now have a white face with silver markers. Marginally better, but I could do with more contrast. I think my next watch will be a big Timex!

hehe that's why I only have one women's size, and it is white dial with gold Roman markers. But can only read it with my trifocal glasses! The rest of mine are men's size

Is this your way of trying to rationalize purchasing a NEW Rolex????!!!!

No - but LOL! I have an abnormal amount of watches. I cannot possibly buy any more in this lifetime. I need to direct my energies into another collection that is less $. Just haven't found one yet. I want to do volunteer work and charity stuff but I still need to find something new to collect. Any suggestions?

the funny thing is when I was browsed another forum, one of the lady there jumped out and posted, the black diamond dial can not read, and those guys followed her to say as well (I think because she has been there so long, so whatever she says she is right lolllllll ).
My respond was: if you can't tell time on black diamond dial then nothing can be read of a Rolex !

I agree. Mine is a ladies size gold face with gold hands and diamond markers - nearly impossible for my old eyes to see it.

Yeah, same as me. yellow face with gold hands with diamonds. it really can't read. Now, I am in a mid of decision for a new one.

THinking of white face with diamond lady date just
or
get boy size - but I felt it is heavy and don;t have the nice white face for me.

Any jubilee strap of boy size to recommend ? (easy reading one)
