Asking for a friend who would like to buy a Rolex on eBay. She wants some tips from people who went this route and know if there are reputable sellers that some of you bought their watches from. I can't give her any advice since I don't like buying expensive stuff on eBay, isn't worth the trouble but I told her I'll ask people here who have experience. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

that's one thing I wouldn't buy preowned myself.....but there is a Rolex forum (rolexforums.com) that's very informative and has info on reputable sellers. I found my watch repair/service guy there
In the uk there are well known & reputable preowned watch shops (Watchfinder for example). Is there something similar where you are? I’d much rather go down that route than eBay. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a Rolex preowned though - you can get a great deal
