Hi everyone! I'm contemplating a Rolex purchase, but am not sure about which face to go with. It will be awhile before I can see them in person, so I've been trying to do research online in the meantime.

I'm interested in a ladies 31mm two tone with date, fluted bezel, and oyster bracelet. I can't decide on silver or mother of pearl face. Does anyone have either and can post pics? Any advice on which color might be better? TIA!

I have mother of pearl (don't like to post pictures of my things, sorry) but I absolutely love it. I have a smooth bezel and diamonds inside... Absolutely love the decision I made with this watch (custom ordered it). The MOP goes with everything, it catches light ever so slightly, is more visually stimulating, and more feminine IMHO. I feel with the MOP, the watch has become more of a piece of jewelry rather than just a watch.

I would suggest either MOP or white, i had a silver face on my platinum rolex and it was very difficult to read

My two tone date just has a white face with roman numerals and its a great look

Thank you everyone for your input! You've all got me leaning towards mother of pearl! However -and this might sound silly, but is the white mother of pearl dial very white? Or does it have any hint of silver?

I ask because I already have a white face watch so I'd like something a little different.

When I was going to buy my Rolex I was initially going to get the mop. The SA noticed the watch I already had on was also MOP and commented that maybe I would like something different. When I thought about it I realized all my other watches had a mop face so I decided against it.

My MOP is very silver with slight light pink, lavender and green tones
