Can anyone recommend a non rolex that looks like a rolex. With the current money situation, I cant get a rolex. I really want a watch that looks like it though, specifically im talking two-tone fluted bezel datejust style, thanks

If you just want to tell the time, I'd get another style that you like that is cheap and save your money for the Rolex. Nothing will replace it in your mind, if you are set on it. You could also research buying one gently used, pre-owned and that will likely save you 30-50% off retail.

Yeah, buy a pre-owned, especailly the TT aren't that expensive. Don't go for lookalikes, you will allways have the real thing in your mind, and in the end you get a Rolex, the watch that you bought at first will be just wasted money.

There are many homages to the Rolex.....all decent watch brands. Not everyone can buy that Rolex (or should). It all depends on your wallet. The manintenance on a Rolex is killer. Nearly 500USD. It's difficult in a forum as large as ours; some can easily afford Rolex, but others cannot. I also believe that if you're young, that is the time to start saving (and not for a Rolex). Save the Rolex for one you're established. Time is a gift (no pun intended here); the ealier you start, the better.
An entry level Rolex does nothing for me when I know I could get brands at that level for much less. I have watches that range from 300 to 2700 retail that all look like a Rolex. Then there is the style: Daytona, President, Oyster.....Citizen, Seiko, Bulova Invicta (yes, they're really good at diver watches). None of them are fakes and are affordable. For more $$$, look at Tag, also. You know how much you are willing to spend and you also don't have to spend full retail. Check out World of Watches. They are liquidators who service the products that they sell. Happy hunting.

I have Rolexes but also some Invictas that I really like - a decent brand, lots of interesting styles, something for everyone. Their diamond-bezeled are not as sparkly as Rolexes, but hey, you get what you pay for. I enjoy mine as much as my Rolexes...

www.worldofwatches.com. I don't know if you might need to adjust your popup blocker? Hope this works.

-it's so odd! Even when I disabled pop-up blocker, it still won't load; gets stuck on "contacting worldofwatches.com".

The last time I went on this website it was from a PC. Now I have a Mac, though I don't know why this should make any difference.

Well, better off anyway, I might have spent some money;)

Seiko has watches that look similar to the Rolex watch. My dad gave me a Seiko when I was in high school that was two-toned (gold & silver) and had a gold bezel. Looked very similar to the Oyster band Rolex watches.
