I have narrowed down to what will (hopefully) be my final two. Now I have to decide whether to go with super jubilee band and fluted bezel or oyster band and smooth bezel. Dial will be silver on whichever I choose...either stick or arabic numerals, as shown. Found some great pics (not mine) on another forum...hopefully the owners won't mind me sharing (photos courtesy of TRF posters). I am looking for an everyday watch for business attire or with jeans and t-shirt.

Oyster/Smooth........no question.......jubilee and fluted looks too "dainty" IMO. You just can't go wrong with the Oyster/Smooth.....plus the jubilee bracelet will stretch out way faster than the Oyster :smile1:

If you worry about scratches and are clumsy like me, go for jubilee and fluted. If you want sporty all the tome. go for oyster and smooth. I have 2 jubilee/fluted and have no regrets!

hmm... personally i will say go for jubilee/fluted, but i really like the pic of that oyster/smooth one. well i guess it just depends on what suits your style more. can you tell what outfits you wear for work and play? i also think the jubilee/fluted is more classic looking and will be more versatile, can be both dressy and casual. i hope you get your watch soon, i can't wait to see it on your wrists. ;-)

At the office I wear slacks and a nice top or sweater set...some business casual, some casual (top and cropped pants, for example), and on the weekends it's mostly jeans and t-shirt or sweaters. Sometimes I wear a suit. No skirts, but I do have one long, flowy dress (that I have yet to wear!). That oyster looks great all shiny and new, but I am worried now that I will bang it up and it will be scratched and disgusting. I am talking to one of your guys about the jubilee version to see what kind of price I could get. I have a pretty good deal available on the oyster if I go with that.

I also don't like to see scratches on my watch that is why I went for the jubilee/fluted. I wear a lot of skirts and dresses, high heels (almost everyday), some pants and jeans on weekends and I find the jubilee/fluted works with my style the best. I think for you it sounds like you can go with either the jubilee or oyster. I think if you are getting the SS (not two tone) DJ then the jubilee/fluted can be both dressy and casual and will work with your style, JMHO.

I prefer the oyster cos it's sportier. My SA told me that it's very rare for customer to pick the oyster especially on 26mm, fluted bezel, MOP with diamond dial. Most of the customer will go for Jubilee. He then advice me to just go for a plain bezel with oyster if i really want something more sporty lol.
Well, indeed most of the AD here so not carry one with oyster bracelete, so if i insist i want the oyster, they will hv to either do a swop or pre-order

If you are goiing to have only one Rolex (for now, LOL), I would go fluted/jubilee. I think it can dress up or down better than the oyster/smooth.

Right now I have all Oyster or president bracelets, Midsize(President) to Milgauss to Submariners, but I decided to get just one ladies TT fluted/jubilee that I could dress up or down, goes with gold or silver, and is more subtle in size and look than the larger watches with the clunky (in a good way!) Oyster links... just my outlook on it.

Both watches you show are beautiful!
