Hi all!

My Rolex Submariner is now 4.5 years old so should be heading for it's first service. However when I went into the jewellers to enquire about it the SA said that unless there is a problem with it or I'm really hard on it then not to bother as servicing it can cause more problems??!!

Do any of you Rolex wearers get yours serviced regularly?

Hmmm mine is about 3 years old and i haven't had it "serviced" but i do remember that when I bought it they told me I could bring it in for "touch-ups" and they would polish the bracelet to remove any scratches etc. and just make sure that it was in proper working condition....

I haven't done that yet but I probably will within the next year or so.

Maybe call rolex and see what type of servicing they recommend?

I got mine done when I had mine less than 3 years, but only because I dropped it so it needed to be sent in to get fixed anyway. While it did come back looking new, I probably wouldn't bother unless you would like it polished.
