Hi everyone,

I found Pre-owner in excellent condition Rolex 2004 ladies size with Salmon dial roman numerals, white gold bezel. The watch comes with all original parts, paperwork, certificate. box.... FOR$1900? Is that a good price? What's the current market price of that watch?

This is the my first Rolex after my Catier Frank. Thank you for your help.

Is this a ladies Datejust size? Which band? SS with just the WG bezel? The price sounds a bit low to me for a 2004, but I am used to looking at the midsize or larger models.

I have a salmon face, oyster, ss w/wg bezel. I paid $2700 in '02. Recently had it serviced for $300.

Sounds like a fair price however I would try to negotiate.

I haven't found it hard to tell time.

Hoka, you're too kind! I've bought a lot, doesn't mean I know a lot:p

I too (as ETenebris has) have only looked at and owned a midsize w salmon dial, (Oyster band) - so not too familiar with price of a fairly recent Ladies'.
I actually sold it because pretty though the dial, as ceya says it is hard to read.

bagsforme sounds like she has the most up-to date info for you.

At first I was going to say it sounds low, but after seeing ceya's post...

Also you must know if seller is reputable, etc., if it is a jeweler, do they offer their own warranty, etc. This could affect price and your decision. Good luck with your decision!

I know there is at least one other experienced tpf-er in the jewelry business that has a Rolex and knows Rolex, can't remember her tpf name; hopefully she'll see this thread.

So how's that for a long post with no answer for you? :shame:

Just looked at peace43's watch and love it. I always like the Roman numerals. I think you got an amazing deal. Does it have the hidden clasp? I forget what year that came out. But either way, it is beautiful. Enjoy!
