Hi!

I know this has been asked several times and i have read the old threads :) I have a hard time deciding on the Rolex datejust, Patek twenty4 or the Cartier tank francaise.

I love the look of all three, so that isn't the problem, what i need is a durable watch, and also one that is waterproof, because i wear my watch all the time.

I've read somewhere that the Patek isn't completely waterproof and the Cartier has synthetic sapphire crystal? is that true?

Thanks so much for your help :D

I wouldn't trust my Rolex submerged in water for long periods.

It sounds like you need a Tag Aquaracer. This watch is waterproof and beautiful. I have the blue MOP with diamond markers.

I have worn my Rolex in the lake and when I swim at the gym. As long as the crown is screwed down securely you should not have any problems with a Rolex. And if you want to dive with a watch, they make several models that can be submerged at great depths. Their watches are tested underwater for significant periods of time (I think one of the sub models was actually bound to a submarine (or other craft...can't remember the specifics) that was submerged and left for several months, and it came out fine. For water use, I would go with the Rolex.
