Hi all,

I am trying to track down this watch for my fiance as engagement present (he is already in a waiting list, however shady).
I would like to have it before March 2020, and therefore reaching out to all Europeans, if anywhere in Europe (including UK) you know we can get offered one in a Rolex shop, I will be more than happy to travel any weekend.
So far we tried 3 countries excluding ours but there is really no hope.

Thanks a mil!

Have you tried Vienna? My husband was able to get the hulk sub there a few years ago while he was on a long waiting list in the US and had tried all of France. GL
Thanks!
We are about to go in Vienna in November so will def send a friend who lives there.
We tried France (no space in waiting lists), Brussels (same), Monaco 7-10y waiting time, Zurich not even taking lists (but from phone so ok).
I saw that in London there are like 30 boutiques and was thinking to pop in each and every one of them as well.
Thing is they are giving so many watches to ppl who resell it (for double the price) and the people who would actually wear them are not getting any.
So I am not sure what the issue of the ADs are and what is their target.
A friend popped up in a mountain in switzerland and got it offered to him by asking for another watch :P

Did you check the Bucherer stores in Switzerland? They have a large Rolex selection. I suggest you try the Lugano store first and then Basel. Unlike Lucerne, they are both somewhat off the tourist radar and normally have customers who want to wear what they buy rather than make a quick profit reselling in Asia etc. Bucherer is a highly regarded brand, they are NOT the Swiss equivalent of Kay Jewelers...fwiw, in Vienna there is also a large Bucherer store on Karntnerstrasse at the Graben intersection, right near St Stephan’s. You could also try Villiger in Gstaad. Make sure you first tell them WHY you want it rather than just asking if they have one.

I tried only by phone and ofc the answer was they don't even do wait lists on ANY of the stores, but will try in person, thanks!!!
I saw they had one in Crans Montana also and Zermatt but no clue if we should go there or Gstaad (trying to combine with holidays xD)
Thanks for all the useful information! :drinks:

If you're going to Vienna, def try the larger Bucherer there. Also Wempe. Both official Rolex retailers with multiple branches so if you're in one and they don't have it, maybe they can source it for you at another branch. In the meantime, have you started considering another watch option just in case? Or is this the only one he wants? Or try here:
https://www.chrono24.com/rolex/ref-126710blnr.htm#gref and reach out to one of the dealers on their site that carries it.

its the only one he wants unfortunately, and honestly it wouldn't be my first choice but he is going to wear it so i'm not giving any input xD
in chrono24 and other local "2nd hand" shops it goes for 2x retail price

i hate to dash your hopes but these watches are impossible to get in store worldwide unless you have some kind of prior relationship (even then so difficult), unless someone can report on recent stock in Europe right now. sadly the rolex game a couple years ago compared to now has vastly changed. was in Paris recently and not a single professional series watch in any store we went to except a two tone yacht master. they all told us even the all gold sport models are completely sold out. same in London, same in Japan. meanwhile every single resale shop in Japan has brand new Batmans, Pepsis, Hulks, for of course double the price. it's ridiculous. funny enough i've seen the most stock in my home country (Canada) but nothing super coveted, just higher end pieces like all gold subs, daytonas etc.

a "friend" just walked into one of the swiss mountain stores and got one like 1 month ago so not sure how exclusive it actually is :P
i mean i am not sure if they produce little (for the demand ofc) or it's just a marketing like for hermes birkins and kellys :P
