Howdy!
So, I went in to my local store today for the sale. While my stuff was being rung up, I spotted the grey rogue tote, which I had pondered about when they first came out, then again when the price dropped, etc. but never pulled the trigger, mainly because I want somewhere to put my phone in that is easily accessible.
I wasn't aware that the Rogue tote was redesigned with a zip pocket and what appears to be lighter handles (which reduces the pull inward of the bag and slightly thicker straps. Now this I could work with!
However, I stepped away from the bag to give it some thought and would appreciate any opinions on folks who have them, or one of the first release and this or whatever!
Thanks in advance!

I ordered the beechwood. When I played with it in the store, it seemed to keep it's shape better than the original ones.

I do have a rogue link tote from the original style and it collapses in on itself and I'm constantly trying to get the handles and pouch strap out of the way when I reach in to get something. I'm one who doesn't care if my tote is wide open (in fact I never zip totes that have a zipper) so I went to the dollar store and got a basket to add structure to the tote. I can tuck the handles behind it so they are between the bag and the basket, or I can rest the handles on top of the basket's handles. Lol works for me - no sag:)

I'm hoping with the new design I won't have to use the basket, but I couldn't pass up that beechwood!

That is what I thought as well when I played with it. I took out the pillow (gosh I wish they'd sell those!) and put the handles in and sat it up and while it did go towards the middle, not at all like before. I think it's a slightly different place on the inside of the bag that they attach the smaller handles. I am all about an insert, but want one that holds it shape. The thick felt ones or the roundish satin ones I've bought on Amazon collapse on themselves. I may have to check out the dollar store! I'm going to ponder a bit. My store has 5 in stock so I should be okay if I wait a day or 2. Thank you. Enjoy the beechwood!
I look forward to seeing if anyone else has opinions.

Yes, I didn't want a purse organizer, just a shaper and am not crafty enough to DIY one. The dollar store was just a "well I'll try it, it's only $1" conversation. Aesthetically not my best effort (put a dustbag around it) but it does the job.

I was at the boutique and one of the SAs had the old style so she brought it out to compare with the new. The strap is also more robust on the new style. She said she wished she had waited to buy it until after the redesign. I could see why, it seems like a better bag now. I do not own one right now. I really wanted the ones with the linked tea roses but ultimately did not care for the fact that there were so many holes in the leather. I wish they had done a liner on that one and it would have been mine!

can somebody post a pic? i have the dark ivy rogue (new style) the smaller one, that i love. was thinking of getting a second rogue with PCE, but now curious about the diff between the 'old' and 'new'. i was even thinking of getting the dark ivy in the larger size, but i know that's stupid.

Here you go. I had to talk myself out of Ivy. It's gorgeous, but green seems to be the color I buy in everything so I needed to change it up.

The addition of the zipped pocket is a good thing; that's one of my biggest beefs with my Rogue tote. I have a Samorga organizer in it (the LV Neverfull MM size) so I have places to put things, but I don't like to keep my wallet in an open tote.

I haven't been able to make myself move out of my NF for more than a day or so since I got it, and I've carried it to work daily since I got it since I can add a couple of files and my daily notebook as well as my normal 'purse' stuff. The Rogue tote is nice and roomy, but just doesn't feel as secure to me because I can't zip the wallet in against me.

I think they should have kept the pouch as well as adding the pocket. I thought I'd never use my NF pochette, but now i love it. I grab mine when I'm running into the ladies room rather than taking my full tote; I keep some feminine products, a toothbrush and small toothpaste tube, a comb, a mirror, a tape measure, my rescue inhaler, a couple of pens, a blister pack of allergy pills....It holds a lot more than I would ever have expected.

I just took my Rogue tote out tonight and conditioned it. I want to give it more wear time, but I just don't think it's as secure as the NF with the much longer strap drop and the lack of an inner pocket. I also wish I'd gotten the version with the links on each size, rather than the ends. I've only carried mine a few times and there are already visible scratches.

Thanks so much for all of your responses! I do think I'm going to pull the trigger on their gray Rogue tote. I have the Charlie in Ivy so I don't know that I would go that route, although the Ivy Rogue is also delightful. The gray is really the only one that has kind of been haunting me for quite some time.
I don't mind the opening as I always keep it close to me. I will probably use multiple pouches to organize better.
I'll keep you posted! THANK YOU AGAIN...but keep the comments coming if there are more to share!

I did get it & will post pics tomorrow. However, I really need a tote organizer. A STURDY one. I ordered about 4 or 5 & none are stiff enough. They all fall in on themselves (because I don't stuff them). I may need to do a DIY or give up on my dream of being a tote girl :-/

Samorga. I love them. I have one in each of my totes. There are always 20% off discount codes floating around.

Try Original Club. I had one of the organizers for an LV and it was too sturdy! You can order directly or on Amazon
