In this context, 'a following' means interest.

I think she means that quite a few people have been watching the auction for the coat, every time it has been listed.

I think she may be implying that she is too lazy to re-upload all the pics of the actual coat and that, as it has had a following since last year, she feels she doesn't need to, as all the watchers have already seen all the pics.

But, TBH, I'm still a little confused! :blink:
