So excited to read on WWD that Target has tapped Laura and Kate Mulleavy of Rodarte to design a capsule collection under their Go International initiative! The Rodarte for Target Go International collection consists of 55 pieces and will range from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket. According to a Target spokesman, the collection is “very feminine, yet very modern and incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur”.
Mark your calendars, the limited edition collection will launch at Target stores nationwide and on target.com on December 20, 2009, and will be available through February 6, 2009. Now we have a collection to look forward after the Anna Sui collection. I can’t wait to see how the collection turns out, now we can own a piece of Rodarte! Are you guys excited??

Oh, AWESOME. I own nothing by Rodarte, but that hasn't stopped me drooling over their collections. They came out with some weirdly haphazardly crocheted/knit tights a couple of seasons ago that I LOVED. How sweet it would be if there was something along those lines in their Traget collection.
