While my first love was the Rocco, unfortunately the bag was just too heavy for me. After purchasing the mini Rockie (only to return), I realized that was just too small. It was not until recently discovering the Rockie with the iridescent hardware that the obsession began. How lucky was I to grab one recently posted on EBAY in "excellent" condition. The search is finally over:D

I have the same bag:D. You'll love the size, it's very easy to organize and fits way more than you'd think! And the hardware is gorgeous!!!

When did this style first come out. Also, how do you condition the lamb skin on your bag. I have Cadillac conditioner but am unsure about this rubberized lambskin. Thanks.

The rubberized iridescent? Fall 2013 I think. Black and white only as far as I know. I don't know whether or not you need to protect the rubberized leather. Mine is still in my closet, haven't used it yet, as I'm in my Balenciaga phase.:roflmfao: But I did carry my regular Rockie for about three months every day with no markings on it other than some small scuffs on the piping and a bit of wear on the matte black studs. And since the piping has been improved they were really only scuffs, nothing that would wear through. I didn't condition it at all.

Does anyone know if you need to treat the rubberized leather any differently?

Did you purchase your Rockie used or new. I also had a Balenciaga City bag that I returned due to stitching issues. After that I developed a sort of bag taste about the quality. Recently, while looking for a Rockie, I rediscovered Balanciaga and am happy to see they now offer a goatskin leather which is more in line to my active lifestyle. With regards to conditioning, I may add a bit of the Cadillac conditioner to the couple of wear spots on bottom corners that look a little dry. Thank you so much for your input.

I purchased my Rockie used off of eBay. The Bals that I have are all pre-loved, (can't afford new!) and I'm somewhat obsessed. I do have three of the older chevre bags which I love! I'd love to buy one of the new ones, or find a good used Hamilton...not a big fan of the metal edge on the new chevre ones though.
