Worn this for a week straight. I always use the shoulder strap. Yesterday i noticed that the area where the handle comes into contact with the back. There is rubbing. I am shocked. I cannot imagine if i had worn it for another week or month.

Did i receive a defective bag or is this common for this bag?

Hmm. Seems like a lot of rubbing for only a weeks use.

I would take it to the TB store and have them to look at it for sure. Keep us posted

I have a red on from back in december and it doesn't stand straight. It's so ugly now. I have to hang it back to straighten it out otherwise it just collapses. Mine is scuffed but that's coz I throw it around everywhere.

Mine is baby blue and only after a week usage I have the same problem on the handles ... It rubbed so bad that it's now white on the inside of the handles .. Ridiculous !!! I love this bag so much and that is why I haven't returned it but I'm entirely bummed by it I didn't imagine this would happen for such a pricey item

Thanks for sharing, everyone! I had my eyes on the same style of bag and now I'm gonna say for sure that I'm not gonna spend $500+ on a bag of that terrible quality. I don't even think it's real saffiano leather since I don't think the Prada one does that.

Just gonna spend a bit more and get the Prada one.

Yup I officially stopped wearing mine last week the rubbing was just so embarrassing. People admired the bag but I was nervous of them seeing the handles lol ... So back to my LV neverfull ... No more TB bags for me ... The tote I purchased got dirty sooooo fast I was pissed !!! I have to see if I can wash it without stripping the colors

I bought a Saffiano leather tote and a Saffiano wallet from Tory Burch. Both items had rubbing and both were scratched very easily. I am very careful with my things and both items were just proof that Tory Burch's quality is very low. They had awesome customer service-- but I must've returned and exchanged the bag (thinking it was defective) multiple times- until I decided that I can't put up with it anymore and returned it for good. I honestly think that the saffiano leather is NOT saffiano. And that they should really not claim that the bags and wallets are of the highest quality of scratch resistant leather..its just false advertisement and it should be dealt with.
