Ritani Rings ??

I'm in love, DH and I picked out a Ritani Ring at Bailey Banks and Biddle,
Center stone is about 1.6 carats and it's an emrald cut. The ring is exclusive to them ,but it looks like this setting almost. The thing is that the SA said they didn't have the certification, paperwork there at the store. I don't think they would have anything like this and with this price range without it right?? I won't get the ring w/out the paperwork and I think I'll be heartbroken if I have to let it go.
Wish me luck, I'm dreaming about this ring!!! It's quite a nice upgrade from my .50 tw set that I have now.

I don't know if Ritani certifies it's pieces but BB&B doesn't only carry certified stones. It's possible the stones are not certified.

I know I can always have it certified, It's just a matter of convincing Dh of that. hopefully he talked to them today.

Can you get the setting separately and buy the diamond elsewhere?

Most little melee (tiny diamonds) are not certified.

if you do go w/ them, talk them down - their prices are inflated and there's room to discount.

i say buy a diamond from a trader (thats certified) and get it made ... im sure it would be cheaper this way and you have the peace of mind.

It's already 45% off , and we are still working with them on that price. They also offered to give us 18 months no interest on it. But I did find out it does have all of the certification. So hopefully we'll get it worked out. I'd love to have this ring. Also it's a Linz cut diamond from BB&B so I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I can't find much info on Pricescope

I've never heard of linz cut, maybe it's their exclusive thing?
