So, I posted a thread months ago about how I had a string of bad luck having lost two rings in a short period of time. One was a blue diamond and the other was a platinum and diamond band.
I was doing laundry the other day and I went to clean the lint out of the dryer vent, which I have done a million times since my rings were lost. I heard something "clink" and there was my platinum/diamond ring sitting in the vent! It must have gotten lodged in there and then caught when I pulled out the vent. Maybe I put it in a pocket and washed it? Isn't it strange how things just turn up sometimes?

Yes, I hate to say it because I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I wish I would have found the blue diamond instead. The blue diamond means so much more to me financially and emotionally. I am very happy to have found at least one of them though!!!!

I am so glad you found it! Hopefully the other one will turn up. My mother's friend lost her engagement ring and didn't find it until 20 years later when they ripped out the carpet to put down new flooring! She, of course, had purchased a replacement, but was relieved to find the original, even after so many years.
