I will start looking for a right hand ring (white gold + diamonds) to use daily. I want something with a little bit "presence" but not too flashy (it should be suitable to wear in the office) and I have decided for something more "designed" as opposed to a ring with a solitaire diamond. I guess for example Cartier love ring (pavé) would work but I am sure there are other nice alternatives as well. What do you have and do you have any recommendation for a nice ring for the right hand?

I’m assuming that your right hand is your dominant hand?

Pave rings are a great option, since you won’t really see the wear and tear as compared to plain gold rings.
However depending on the size and setting of the diamonds, they may feel a bit uncomfortable (though usually not) so best to try on in stores just to make sure.

I think David Yurman makes great pave diamond rings at a relatively reasonable price point. I remember trying on a full pave signet ring (diamonds all the way around) and I found it quite comfortable.

Edit: Of course, if you don’t care about brand names, you can always go to your local jewelry store and get something customized. Pave diamonds themselves, tbh, are not the highest quality diamonds. They are so small they are often not given a grade. So if you do decide to buy a pave piece from a luxury brand, keep in mind you’re paying more for the brand than for the quality of the diamonds themselves.

Happy shopping!

I use Tiffany Victoria rings for this. The alternating is cheaper than the vine, but it is also a little painful because of the little prongs on each setting. The vine is not poke-y and so is more comfortable to wear, but on the whole I like it less since it, to me, makes less of a statement and I also don't love the mini-pave on every other leaf pair. They've both gone up w the recent price increase but the tcw is similar and the alternating is still a decent price, about 16K iirc, whereas the alternating is now 22K and seems overpriced to me.

Thanks for your reply! I think a pave ring is a good option. Getting something customized in my country I believe may end up more expensive than buying a piece from a well-known company. I am not so familiar with David Yurman but I am now off to take a look at the webpage!

I really like the brand Mejuri. They have white/yellow gold rings with pave diamonds. They have statement pieces and also dainty pieces as well. Good prices too.
Thanks! I had never heard of Mejuri but had a look at their webpage. The have some nice pieces but it is only 14k gold, I definitely want 18k.

Thanks! I will have a look (I really like the Tiffany Victoria collection but I am not sure of that I have seen the rings from that collection).

I suggest that you also consider a ring made with platinum instead of white gold. White gold is usually rodium plated. The plating wears off in time (sometimes really fast depending on your body chemistry) with constant wear with hand washing. This means the ring would have to be re-dipped in order to look like "white" gold again. This process is never ending and is quite costly.

Platinum is certainly an option as well

Although this is in yg, it’s a ring my colleague had made in Italy. She wears it every day and it goes with everything.

I bought 2 rings that were paved and i noticed one is whiter than the other and more brilliant. I think they also use quality grade when it comes to paved diamond.
