RIP...he was wonderful in The Thorn Birds..one of my favorites

Back then, I worked second shift but had a VCR (anyone remember those?) and taped Thorn Birds. I would come home and watch Thorn Birds--he was gorgeous!

RIP, you made a lot of us swoon and for that--Thank You.

Wow RIP. He always looked distinguished and older but me being nearly 60 and having grown up in the 1970s I just cannot imagine him being 90 years old.

My oldest sister had a crush on him in the 60s when he played Dr. Kildare. I remember him from the miniseries era of the 80s in Shogun and The Thorn Birds. He was an extremely attractive man through the decades.
