Ok, so I wrote a long review on this bag and then lost the whole thing. *sigh*

For some time I have been looking for a tote like this. I really wanted a python/lizard tote but many of the styles seemed like 'too much' for my particular taste--love it on other people but not on me. When I saw this bag, I was so excited because this is what I've been looking for!

I had originally been looking at the medium jet set but wasn't sure if it was too small. Well, I waited too long and it sold out before I could make up my mind. It turned out to be a great thing, though, because the large Jet Set showed up afterward and I knew that was the best size for me because, with three kids and my work, I carry a lot of stuff everyday.

So, here's my review:

Exterior/Leather: I REALLY love this leather. It's a nice medium grey with light and darker undertones in the pattern. It has a hint of sheen but not much; it's got such a great look without the pattern taking everything over. The hardware is gorgeous. The extra strap is not detachable but it isn't a problem for me. It lays nicely out of the way and it hits nicely if you want to wear it crossbody (I am 5'4"). The double straps also fit nicely on the shoulder and you get a bit more room after the bag stretches out a bit.

Interior: I think MK does a fantastic job of using interior pockets and space. This bag is very well thought out. It has a large zipper pockets and multi-function pockets on both sides of the bag.

It also has a super-cool extra pocket. It also has a magnetic closure and it's located on the inside wall of the bag (I have a picture of it to show). I think it is meant to take the place of an outside zipper pocket. It runs about 1/2 the length of the bag and is perfect for wallet, keys and cellphone.

That feature alone makes this bag fantastic. Now I have the convenience of carrying a tote without having to dig for my most commonly used items!

I bought this bag a bit early for my birthday (was worried it would sell out) and can't wait to use it. I have a feeling that this will be a bag I carry for a long time with no need to switch out. The color and patterns will go with everything I wear.

I'm sorry-I don't know why my pics keep getting rotated! Ugh!

I really feel like I found a tote that fits my personal taste and my lifestyle!:smile1:

That's a beautiful bag, very cool design in the leather.

I've lost my post several times too, it sure is frustrating when the window closes when you're previewing. And then I usually write a shorter one the next time around!

That Jet Set is sooooooo beautiful!! I have a Jet Set too so I am well aware of what a great bag it is and I second everything you said. The color you have is stunning though - I can totally see why you love it so much. I can't wait to see this one IRL too!!

CONGRATS AND ENJOY your new bag!!

I love this bag! I saw it today at the boutique. The finish is just right--it's not overdone at all. Congrats! ;)

I was looking for the smaller Tilda shoulder bag in this finish but they didn't have it in stock. Now that I have seen the material, I may have to place an order!

What a beautiful bag! It caught my eye online, but the colors really pop in your pictures. I've always had a similar problem finding a python bag, but now that I've read your review I think I might have to get one myself.
