My Precious and her friends have arrived. And they are sooo lovely.

Please don't scoff at the plastic and wrapping. I love to enjoy my new Preciouses bit by bit. I take photos for proof, and then when it's time to wear I get it ready with my first outfit. :smile1:

I love Burgundy and variations of reds and even purples sometimes. I know all I have to do is wait a few seasons for them to come back in style, bigger and better than ever!

THE BOROUGH BAG IN PEBBLED LEATHER OXBLOOD

My new The Borough in Oxblood is here. For the most part, the lovely fashionistas here have said a ton about this bag, and they are all true! My bag was actually shipped in a smaller box; had a small dent, and when I blinked the dent was gone. The hardware is shiny and beautiful, but not flashy. The Oxblood is soooo rich, luscious, and classy. I see myself using this bag for years to come. I am so glad I got this bag when I did, and I plan to eventually get the Large and Mini in different colors. This bag is awesome. One thing that surprised me is The Borough appeared smaller than I thought/assumed it would be. I know the website lists the measurements, but I don't walk around with a ruler. It looks like a miniature briefcase. For my job position, I wouldn't carry this bag as an everyday work bag (which I initially thought I could), but I may wear it to meetings across town when a bigger briefcase is too much, and a purse won't do. Oh, and guess what? I've maybe figured out a way to keep the handles down while using the long strap. It involves attaching another ring, like a small key ring to one of the handle rings and then attaching the strap to the ring. I tried my "master plan" using a safety pin and it seemed to work...but of course I'm not going to walk around with a safety pin on my new Coach. Once I find a key ring I will try my plan again, or perhaps someone here can also try it first.

URBANE--THE LARGE CLUTCHABLE IN PEBBLED LEATHER--OXBLOOD

Whoah, there. What's this? I haven't seen any reveals on this bag. I saw it and placed it in my cart even before The Borough. To me, this is what a clutch purse should be: Substantial enough to hold, yet small enough to not overpower an outfit like a normal purse. Most clutches to me are too wallet-like, and as scatter-brained as I am, will end up on the ground or stuffed in a bag somewhere. The Urbane Large Clutchable in Oxblood is the perfect accessory to accentuate a sharp outfit in probably any color. It has plenty of useable pockets. The main zippered pocket folds over the bag. Inside are three pockets. One pocket stretches the length of the bag. Opposite the long pocket are two smaller pockets for a cell phone and other accessories. Those two pockets are accessible by another opening that is directly underneath the flap. So the two small pockets can be accessed by opening the zipper, or just flipping up the clutch flap. There is one more pocket on the back side of the clutch. Both outside pockets are magnetic closure. This bag has enough room to put items from a small purse (Small Madeline) and even more while still keeping its shape. It's classy and elegant, with just a dash of sheen to go from day to night. I feel that this bag is Coach's hidden secret, and possibly its most efficient bag released. I love how Coach has released this Oxblood color this season...they were talking to me!

BLEECKER!!!

Last but not least, my Bleecker Business Tote, and a Madison Gathered Clutch. This basic black of my clutch is far from plain. I'm not sure if you can notice the inside color peeking through.

This isn't all! My other lovelies will be posted in different threads.

All sooo beautiful....perfection!

Beautiful purchases...and great idea about attaching the strap on the Borough to keep the handles down! I'm sure a lot of ladies would be thrilled if it works!!
