Hi all,

I know some of you are waiting for this reveal of something that I got recently.
I finally had some time to make pictures, so here we go.
I have +/- 50 pics to share .

Apology for the delay, something else suddenly needed my attention, but I am back now .

I always loved the BTH bag and I remember seeing a lovely blue one a few years ago.
It didn't come home with me, but I never forgot the one that got away .
Every season I was waiting for new colours, until Gucci recently introduced the old BTH bag again, the version without tassels. I always loved the version with tassels, so I decided it was now or never.

I just had a feeling, so I decided to make a trip to a Gucci outlet. And I was right, once I arrived they had a few BTH bags indeed.
But none of them were singing to me, except for a calf hair version. Until I saw it had a ugly dent on the bottom. I also remember seeing a BTH on the Bay in calf hair which had some bold areas, so while the calf hair BTH was definitely beautiful (except for the dent), I knew it was not the one.

I asked the SA if they had any other BTH bags in the back. Mind you, I was supposed to be on a ban, but I thought if I would find a nice leather BTH, I would make an exception and break my ban .
The SA came back with a huge satin BTH bag, a small silver one and one more....
An ostrich BTH! Once I saw it I told the SA that it was beautiful, but that I wasn't planning to buy an exotic. My SA offered me to try it on...just to have a look.
Why not, I thought. Just looking and trying it on, wouldn't harm. Silly me .

The rest is history, once I tried it on I actually really liked it. I was admiring the lighter bamboo details and the ostrich skin. I asked the SA if they were expecting more BTH bags soon but he could not tell, their shipment always was a surprise.
I was torn for a moment, but when my SA showed me a beautiful shawl to go with it, I was sold. I mean, this opportunity was just too good to let go.
While I was trying it on at the boutique with different shawls, a reseller circled around like a shark. "Not today, not today", I thought before walking to the cash desk to pay for my new BTH and a matching shawl.

May I present, miss Bamboo top handle in coral ostrich . Finally, I am a member of the BTH club too.

Some detail pictures....the matching mirror is so cool! It's quite heavy though for a mirror.
And the tassels, I love the tassels .
The inside looks yummy too with that soft leather...

The last couple of pics are with the new Gucci shawl that also came home with me.
I really love it, it's a big shawl and I love the paisley pattern.

It's a color that is actually easy to wear. As you can see in these two pictures, where my new BTH meets my Hermès Peuple du Vent cashmere GM shawl.

Some more pics....this bag is easy to match with colorful scarves, but it can also make a more neutral outfit 'pop'.

What a beautiful birdie! The Ostrich looks so substantial and the colours of the body and the bamboo work really well.

and she certainly fits right in with all your beautiful shawls and scarves - you had FUN dressing her up

I will finish this reveal with some special pictures, dedicated to my late dog Max, who suddenly passed away 13 months ago.
The Guccioli scarves and necklace are a tribute to him. He looked a lot like Leroy, the Guccioli bulldog.
The necklace and the fur shawl mean a lot to me as they were special gifts from two wonderful, sweet PF friends, so this is also to honor them .
