You guys. THIS BAG!

I’m so excited to post this. (So excited, that I ended up unboxing it in store so I could post pics/mod shots asap.)
There’s been quite a bit of buzz about this bag, but not a lot to be found yet on TPF.

I’m usually a compact crossbody gal and when my SA pulled this out in the Black Lambskin, I told her “you know that’s not my style of bag.”

Then... she showed me what this stunning shapeshifter can do—and I was SOLD!

The black came home with me (pics to follow soon) and then I started doing some research and knew one of the gorgeous two-tone combinations also needed to happen.

So much street style here. Carry it by the top handle, or fold it and it’s a clutch to hold in the hand or under the arm or convert it to a shoulder bag by using the two tone straps.

The 31 also comes in a smaller size which I was able to try in store. It’s also lovely and the size is more consistent with a traditional clutch. This size is designed with an additional exterior zipper pocket.

The lambskin is buttery soft and supple. Perfect for this bag.
The color combinations are gorgeous.
(I also looked at the classic beige/black combo, but that bag is actually calfskin and I prefer the luxurious feel of the lambskin for this style.)

It’s a stunning bag and it makes a unique statement.

Here goes!

Now for some mod shots from in store.

I love how you can change this bag on the fly. It’s very comfortable in all positions and very lightweight.

At first, I wondered why straps were used instead of the classic chains. But, now I get it. You need the straps to be as minimal as possible so you can go from shoulder bag to clutch in an instant.

I’m 5’3” and a bit curvy for reference.

thank you so much for the detailed photos and info. i emailed my SA once you said there was a small version. i have the original of this bag with chain straps from 1987... this is much more modern. i'm a wee bit skeptical of folding over the lambskin but think this post has encouraged me to get one in small. you look great modeling it, thank you!:flowers:

Oooh! I’d love to see a pic of your original bag! (Love vintage Chanel bags)
Thank you for your kind words. And I’m so glad the info and pics were helpful-that’s the goal!
I think you’ll really like the smaller version.
Beautiful and classy with that updated edge.
Keep me posted!
