After deliberating between the black with RG and the latte with RG, i have finally bought my first rocco! I have the pictures below-it is shown stuffed with a bath towel. Im planning to leave it for a week before i can use it, i hope it does regain shape!

The colour is like a light caramel colour. Im worried about colour transfer so does anyone have any tips on how to protect it as well as what leather cleaner to use without the leather going dull?

Also i purchased the bag online from Harrods UK, and it had no tags (except for one inside the bag on inner pocket), it had a plastic ring as you can see on one of the pics and no covering for the metal. The dustbag was also dirty. Usually when i purchase designer bags online, they are meticulously wrapped with the metal covered in foam etc...im worried its a used and return item =(. How did you guys receive your roccos?

Congrats on your new bag :D I have the same one, and so far no color transfer. I don't own that many jeans though, and the ones I have never transferred to anything :p I bougth mine in store, but my other AW bags that I've bought online came wrapped in plastic (suddenly I'm not so sure, too excited to pay attention), and with the tag inside on the inner pocket.

You were right...the colour combo is definitely lush. Do you use any leather conditioner or protector on it? The leather is a bit stiff at the mo so I'm hoping it softens up after some use...

Does the bag regain shape after stuffing?

Congratulations on your new wonderful bag!

We´re bag twins now :ghi5:

No colour transfer yet, but I´ve been having it only for a few days now. I´m gonna spray it with collonil protection spray and watch out while wearing dark denim not to rub it aganst it.

Have fun and enjoy it, latte is just so perfect with the RGHW

wooo bag twinnies lol

Which spray will be best for use on this bag? Ive never really purchased a lighter coloured designer bag so definitely want to take precautionary steps to look after it

Thanks

OMG! I love it! :) If there is no wear and tear on it, Im sure its not used.
Perhaps this place Harrods just have bad quality control!

Im looking to purchase this same style as my first rocco here soon!

yea-they said that they often tend to be on sale in the store as well hence why there were no tags and the metal wasn't covered. But because i complained-i managed to get 10% off as the dustbag was really grimey as well!

Be sure to do a reveal once you get your 1st-it is slightly addictive. I am now considering my next purchase (not anytime soon) will be a rockie.

I take the classic collonil spay, it´s called special wax, it´s great for smooth AND pebbled leather (at least so it says on the packaging) ;)

I always treat my designer bags with collonil stuff, and was really happy with it

Nishy i just bought the baby version of this, the final reduction was too good to walk away from ;) and not from Harrods i may add

BTW Harrods are notorious at sale time for posting out bad quality bags and badly packaged bags. Dont know why but plenty have had issues over on the Mulberry thread.
