Hey guys,
I ended up taking the plunge and I bought a SS Midsize preowned and I wanted to share it with you. It was a really great price and under my budget. The condition is great overall- was fully serviced fairly recently. The only problem is some cosmetic wear (which I will show you).

I am really happy that I got one with the date marker. Very useful for me.

My wrist is 5.5in.

I had the back taken off so I could ease my mind completely about the authenticity. Here is what that looks like:

And here is the only problem- it looks like it once had an accident where it was dropped on one side and it has quite a few dents on the side of the band and on the side of the case. The watch was buffed out when it was serviced and this is what remains.

Luckily it's not noticeable when I wear it since it's on my right wrist- and it's hard to see it if you're not looking for it. I don't like that it's there but I know as I wear it, I will create my own wear on the watch and then it wont bother me anymore.

I will take more mod shots once I get to my favorite full length mirror at work.
Thanks for letting me share.

Congrats. It looks great on you.

It's beautiful!
Great size. I am warming up to the medium size :smile1:
Many congrats and enjoy it.
Godspeed! I was so torn between the small and medium. Drove 3 hours to a Cartier thinking I was leaning towards a small.

Tried them both on and I was having a hard time reading the small which is what made the decision for me (but one SA said small was his decision for me and one SA said mid was hers).
I have good eyesight and I am sure I would have gotten used to it but the Midsize felt more right.
And then I decided that I wanted the date function so that sealed the midsize for me.

It also really helps once the watch is fitted to the wrist. All the extra dangling bits in the store made it harder to tell.
