Thursday I went to Paris to pick up an orange bag I had been waiting for since August 2008.

This item was ordered by my father for my mother sometime between 1960 and 1964. It had stayed forgotten, locked (combination forgotten) and unused between 1980 and 2006 when I sent it to be repaired and reconditioned. Finally I got it back.

Now THAT is a reveal!!! Gorgeous. I love the placement for the necklace. So few jewelry boxes have that. How did it look before you sent it to H? Are you amazed or just "eh" about the reconditioning? Thanks for sharing. I love it....especially that it's BLUE inside and not red!
