Wanted to share my new lovely watch after several months of looking. I have a more formal watch (a gold Blancpain) but wanted to add a more practical every day steel watch to my collection.
I've always loved IWC and when I heard they were bringing the Da Vinci back I knew I would end up with one of them! They have a beautiful range of styles - at the end it was a close debate between the two-tone and the blue face. I ended up going with the two-tone because it's easier to read and more versatile to match with various jewelry and clothes. I am loving it!
The SA helped me pick the espresso colored strap which really picks up the gold tone of the numerals and contrasts with the steel face. The lugs are flexible which is a very cool new feature that IWC introduced with this new model and makes the watch much more comfortable.
