I'm in love. I'd been looking for a burgundy or purple bag for fall when I stumbled onto this beauty. I don't know how it compares to the burgundy from a prior season (2011 maybe?), but it looks deeper, cooler, and more berry-toned from a comparison of the stock photos I was able to find online. That's great for me, as I wear cool tones almost exclusively, although I think the color would look great (and warmer in tone) if paired with brown. The silver hardware really sealed the deal for me, as I am not a fan of burgundy and gold together.

Enough of my ode [emoji4]. Without further adieu, here is my new oxblood medium PS1, solo and beside my 2014 concrete grey (which I've been using and loving this summer) for a family shot [emoji4].

Congrats, I love this bag, this is TDF!!!! I have been staring at this bag on the PS website. I am trying to decide between this color and the Baltic Green in suede that just came out. Would you say this bag looks plum or has any purple tones in real life? Online it's so hard to tell! I think in your pics it looks a little more reddish but maybe its the lighting. I wear a lot of cool tones as well, and black :)

Thanks! When I look at my bag and the stock oxblood photo on the Proenza Schouler website, I think the bag looks more red and less plum in real life. I'd describe it as an old-school burgundy, which I love against the modern silver hardware. I think it is prettier and more eye-catching than the color of the stock photo, IMHO.

I took my pictures in bright indoor light, without flash. I think the color will look deeper and darker in most light (except direct sunlight, perhaps).

Love the burgundy tone, it's beautiful! Love how you have the same bag, but in two completely opposite colors, gives them two completely different looks. :smile1:
