So, my DD and I were out shopping the other day and I saw this tote at Nordstrom. Fell in love immediately! Went home without her and she was all I could think about (I know, I'm a little nuts!). Didn't want to pay full retail though. Called Nordstrom the next day and they matched the L&T F&F 25% off. So, without further adeau, here is the MK Large Bedford Tote in Red....

It is a true deep red, my favorite color! This first picture shows more accurately the color Red the bag is (If the pictures show on your computer screen a little 'pinkish' (it does on my screen), it's not the actual color), it is definitely a true, deep, 'blue' red. It really reminds me of the Coach Maggie, as it is set up the same way with a middle zip compartment (with a gold MK zipper pull) and on each side of that are compartments with magnetic snap closures. I love the organization!!!! The outside pockets really make it convenient to get at things you reach for frequently (keys, cell phone, glasses, etc.) easy to get to. I really like the rolled shoulder straps, as they are a good width, not too skinny (where they would dig into your shoulder) and not too wide, where they wouldn't stay on your shoulder. It can be carried easily on the shoulder (with or without a coat) and will be comfortable on the arm too, without it handing to long (I'm only 5'4" and don't like when I carry a bag on my arm and it's banging into my knees!). It's a great size too (MK calls it the large). It has rolled handles with nailhead and buckle details. I just love the straps that run down both sides of the front and back. No metal fee on the bottom, which is kind of a bummer, but no big deal as I don't but my bags on the floor anyway. I love the gold hardware and absolutely love how 'Michael Kors' is written in gold on the front.
This is the first time I have bought a bag without even trying my stuff inside!! I still haven't but wanted to take pictures before the sun goes down. I also saw it in black too and it was just as stunning (but I definietly don't need another black bag!). Thanks for looking. My Birthday was this past Monday, so I'm considering this my B-Day gift to myself! Here are a few more pictures....

Wow that really is GORGEOUS!!!! I can see why you wanted to use it right away!! Thanks for doing the reveal!!!! It really is a lot like a Maggie!! I love it and the shade or red is so beautiful!!

From what I just saw of the Coach Spring preview I think I'll be doing a lot of MK shopping for Spring and Summer bags.

Crissy11 - Thanks for the Birthday wishes! I'm planning my wardrobe this week so I can carry her! It's the perfect size, where the Maggie (regular) was a bit too tight for my things and the straps on the Large didn't quite work as well. I saw the Spring preview pics last night and it looks like some "tweeks" to what's currently out now for Coach. Love the Caroline with the woven leather, but I highly doubt I'll be willing to spend their asking price. I've got my eye on a few other MK bags as well.

Lakeshow - Thank you. I love, love, love all the seperate pockets! I'm pretty Type A and it really keeps everything organized!
