Bought the Camden bag in Luggage during the Macy's F&F sale. Great price. But, it doesn't seem like an awfully popular purse and I'm not 100% sure if it's love. It feels really comfortable with my things loaded up in it but does anyone think it's a little bit outdated? Am I just being crazy? Thoughts?

No, I think it's really cute! That bag is a pretty classic style too and I love the luggage colour. Even if you don't use it every day it is the perfect weekend bag to wear with jeans! It looks like it would be comfortable

I like it, especially with the tassels but if you're not happy with it that's a sure sign that you should return. Or give it a few days and think about it without taking the tags off. Macy's has a great return policy.

Definitely not outdated tassels, and fringe and bucket-ish type bags are everywhere BUT if you don't feel comfortable with it, take it back! it's not me carrying it so what does my opinion matter? lol

Here's my camden satchel. They are beautiful soft leather bags and different from what's really popular right now like saffiano which I love too but NOT outdated. The tassels are a wonderful touch. IMO they are classic. I say keep her.

How's the comfort of those MK flip flops?? Sorry OP for hijacking your thread.

I don't buy my purses dur to how popular they are, I buy them on what I like and if the function well for what I want them for. You seem to like the function and I like the look and color, if I find one in this color and a MK I like I will be breaking my black and pink mold.

I have 4 pair. On a scale of 1 to ten, I give them about an 8 or 9. The thong between the toe and bottom sole is a little bit harder than say an old navy or coach flip. They are fine for all day wear though. The cork insole is nice. Now the MK jelly's with the metal plate are super comfy. I have the bronze with gold and black with silver plate. I wish those came in more colors with the gold plate instead of silver. You also have to size up 1 whole size in both styles. I wear 7.5/8 but wear a 9 in all MK sandals.

I love the Camden and would have purchased one if I didn't have another similar style bag. Maybe it's the color that doesn't appeal to you. Have you considered other colors? I think this bag looks divine in black and navy. :smile1:

Thank you everyone for your replies and suggestions. I wasn't too concerned with popularity. But, when an item is more popular, there tends to be more reveals and mod shots to help sell the bag to me. I do care whether a style might be outdated. It's probably a touch of insecurity. I've been in baby raising mode so I haven't really kept current.

I decided to return the Camden in Luggage. I love the style (especially the tassels) but it was the color that I wasn't crazy about. Baglady, thanks to your photo, I'm dying for the blue!!! That's the one I want and I'm going to wait for a sale. I would also grab a black if the price is right. But, that blue is so pretty!!!
