So... I caved during the Net-a-Porter sale and got the Double Biker Purse. Basically a wallet on a chain (well...strap). I've always loved the Biker Purse style, but am a bit torn...

It's pretty big (tall)...bigger than the regular Biker Purse wallet and I think kinda big to be using as an everyday wallet. But, could be great to use in my large bags as it gives me a quick grab and go option when running out for lunch or errands and not wanting to lug my large bag.

Not sure I love the strap...good length and lots of adjustment options, but it doesn't fold up easily to be able to just stash in my bag and only pull it out when I need to use it. Maybe I could just roll it into a circle and use a twist tie...

I absolutely love, love, love the tri-texture pattern, the embossed leather and the hardware accents. It's really well made. Has six card slots and each slot can easily accommodate two cards - the slots are vertical which is kind of fun. It also easily fits my phone which helps with the grab and go factor. And tons of stash space for receipts and cash.

Bonus? It was 60% off.

What do you think? My heart says keep it but does it just look too big to use as a regular wallet?

Go with your heart, I say...is it just me or do several of the AW styles have an element that is a tad inconvenient? But the styles are just so appealing that it's worth it.
If you carry a large bag it'll be a perfect fit, and it would work great as a grab and go clutch if you didn't want to always carry the strap with you. Your price was great and it's drop dead gorgeous...

Thanks so much! I think following my heart is sound advice...think I'd kick myself later if I let it go.

Here are some comparison shots for perspective...versus the MJ Zip Clutch...when held up to a regular continental sized wallet, it's really not outrageously huge. It's taller heightwise but also shorter lengthwise.

Your MJ is beautiful, I'm a huge fan of his quilted stuff...the AW makes a statement in my opinion and you can truly use it as a clutch or small shoulder bag, lots of versatility. And if someone says "what a big wallet you have" tell them you need it because you have so much money.:roflmfao:
