Omg I'm so sorry this happened. I can't understand why people pack these beautiful bags so poorly. Is there anything you can do about this?

I don't know how poshmark works so can't advise- sorry. It is awful when you look forward to a delivery and get this, as it is soft leather would those scratches disappear with a conditioner and stuffing the bag?

That will hang out with no problem. No permanent damage. Pretty bag for a steal. I'd keep it.
Poor packaging but I agree, it will be fine by just hanging it up. and stuffing it for a couple of days. I don't understand why sellers package things like that, either, however, saving 600.00 is well worth it. Is a GORGEOUS bag! We have all seen Macy's package worse than that! The box getting crushed is the Post Office's fault! Happens to me all the time. USPS mail service isn't what it used to be. They run the packages through those machines and this is what happens. At least she used a priority mail box which got it delivered quickly. I say keep it! It's gorgeous!

Looks fabulous to me! That's great the seller was able to find the dust bag to include after you already purchased the purse. Plus, it looks like you made a heck of a deal talking her down 20% off her bottom price (if i'm looking a correct listing.)

Shipping is always risky. Too big a box runs the risk of smashing it in other ways. For $4.99 shipping, I never expect much though. I guess it is a reminder to all of us in the thread to make packaging requests instead of assuming others think about these purses as we do.

It's hard, but try not to get caught up on the couple negatives. (I'm like that too.) You have so many positives. I definitely think you came out a winner!

That color is so amazing! I would love to see more pics of the bag!

You really did get a STEAL!! The great thing about leather is how it bounces right back. If that were the saffiano, it would be ruined. Soft leather can take a lot. I have even folded mine and put them in my suitcase! Didn't hurt them at all. That bag will be fine and you will get loads of compliments, like now! lol! GORGEOUS! Love that color! SMILE, Smiley! You did good!

Do you know why the leather would look like this ? Really hard to show in pictures I didn't know any to play with it ... There's one other weird spot I can feel it with my finger .. It's weird how they have it sewed on the sides... I guess so it keeps the shape for the style ImageUploadedByPurseForum1436502179.185088.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1436502466.346164.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1436502476.178317.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1436502579.477231.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1436502723.348833.jpg

Just put that leather conditioner on it that you have from the Chemical Guys and rub real hard. You have to rub on it! It should buff right out. It looks to be a minor scuff? I am fairly certain it will rub off easily. Glad it's on the back of the bag. However, that little scuff is very minor and won't be seen while carrying at all, even if it won't come out completely, but I am pretty sure it will, or at the very least, be an improvement.

You have to expect to see SOME evidence of the bag being used, since you bought it used and saved yourself almost $700.00!! If the bag was perfect, she could have easily sold it it for 500.00! If anyone comes up to you with a magnifying glass to look for that little scuff, just bop them in the head with the bag and tell them to "Get outta here" lol! If it doesn't rub off as well as you would like it to, you can always take it to a shoe repair store. They can easily fix it for very little expense. And then right after you do that, you will probably put a few scuffs of your own, on it anyway! lol!
That little nick at the top of the scuff, looks like it got scratched with something sharp, and that's why you can feel it.

It looks like that last pic is a stitch to hold a pleat in place, which adds style to the bag. My God! That bag is GORGEOUS!! Scuff and all! Doesn't take ANYTHING away from that gorgeous bag. You did good, Smiley. I just love all that detailed contrast white stitching. Such a beautiful bag that I am SURE you will get loads of compliments on.

1+! Its soft leather so stuffing will get the "kinks" out pretty easily. Its a beauty, I say keep her. At least its not saffiano, that would have been a total loss. I have had my fair share of improperly packed saffiano handbags sent to me and they are returned ASAP. Is this gooseberry? I have the soft leather traveler in that color.

I agree. It's such a shame that it had to come packed this way but soft leather is forgiving with this sort of thing. I think if you condition the leather real well, stuff it & hang it up, she should recover nicely. You got such a great deal on her & the color is gorgeous! I would still keep her!
