It is finally here! Isn't it the way that the day you are anticipating a UPS package the driver comes at the latest possible time! I like to thank Bloomingdale's for: a)packing the bag in a box (I don't know how many times I ordered something nice and it is shipped in a bag) and b) giving me a price adjustment on the bag this morning. So...who's ready to roll?

I'm ready !!!!!!

The bag I got was the black with the silver hardware. All the bags are lined with a tan soft suede lining (more that likely get super dirty super fast). The only fabric is in the interior lining pocket. Speaking of pockets they are super tight. I have a Galaxy S5 in a thin case and it will not fit in the pockets. Keep in mind too that this bag is a tribute to the original Cashin bag, so most of the elements that are "Why on earth did Coach do that?" are because of that. Case and point: the lining is glued to the leather and stitched around the edges. The top zip is not a break away at all and the leather tab end snaps into the interior of the bag. The top handles are comfortable to carry in the crook of your arm or your hands. The shoulder strap is your basic Coach thin strap. If you are smaller you might be able to make it work crossbody better, but for me being big chested and having shoulders it is a little short. The good thing is that even though the handles do not lay flat, the are thin enough that you can easily get in and out of the bag without them being a problem.

I would like to have seen:
A better crossbody strap
Feet on the bottom of the bag
If you like structured, boxy looking bags this is for you!!
Overall I would not pay full price for this bag. I am going to hang onto it for a few weeks and see if it grows on me. I am more of a slouchy hobo/duffle girl and thought I would branch out. It is not a "I totally hate it, it has to go back right away" bag nor is it a "Omg I love it, I am never parting with it".
For some reason it is only available through Bloomingdale's. The bag went from "new arrival" to clearance in a matter of a week. Right now it is $315 plus they are having a private sale so you get $25 off every $100 you spend (code PS25).

Oh it looks like it's a nice size. Now I'm super excited for mine to arrive.
It is a nice size. It is wider in depth than the mini tanner and has the "wings". You don't have to play bag tetris with all your goodies. A 7 1/2" wide full size wallet fits horizontally no problem. If you stand it upright you run into the problem with the zipper. Likewise with an iPad mini.

Another oddity is that the care card is made from heavyweight matte card stock and not the heavy glossy ones that every single item comes with. Plus, the Coach hang tag is just the customary shape. No stamping at all on it.

For reference I have an iPad mini in a Speck case, 7 1/2" long wallet, and personal sized Filofax in there (sorry for the cruddy pic my dog was being very curious and would not leave the camera alone).
