Hello all!
I have been a lurker for years. I want to finally share my growing collection and hopefully get some advice about what to keep and what to sell! I am trying to create a collection that will last me for years, and I feel wasteful having pieces that I don’t 100% love.
I would love to get your expert opinion because I am pretty sure my friends and family are tired of hearing about it LOL! I figured I would also post a lot of photos for those interested in using them for future reference! I love yellow gold (Jennifer Aniston is one of my jewelry inspirations) and I love casual nature inspired pieces, here goes!
My Cartier Trinity ring, the first piece I ever purchased. It is very special to me because I bought it from the Cartier flagship store in Paris. I am looking to pair it with a white gold Tiffany metro diamond band in the future.
Large Cathy Waterman love necklace, which I wear all of the time.
Cathy Waterman leafy branched earrings, I love them to death!
Jennifer Meyer 18k yellow gold leaf necklace.
Cathy Waterman baby love charm.
Cathy Waterman gold daisy lever backs.
My newest acquisition, the large Jennifer Meyer turquoise leaf necklace.
Here are my thoughts about the ones I want to sell. I am definitely a picky perfectionist, which is frustrating. All of these pieces are very well made and beautiful, these are just my personal dislikes:
Cathy Waterman Daisy Earrings: they are cute but it bothers me that you can see the lever backs when my hair is up. Also, I wonder it they are too cutesy.
Cathy Waterman Baby Love: I purchased it before I purchased the larger version, and like the bigger size more.
Jennifer Meyer Small Leaf: I love the chain on this, but am getting a little bored with the leaf. Also, I think I prefer the richer look of the Waterman 22k pieces. I sometimes wonder if Jennifer Meyer pieces will stand the test of time or if they are a trend.
Jennifer Meyer Large Leaf: Not sure what to do about this one. I always thought I wanted it because I love the turquoise and the size. I think it looks better in pictures than in person though, I worry it looks a little like costume jewelry. I got it for a killer deal and think I could sell it for more than I paid, so I can’t tell if I am just trying to talk myself out of it for this reason.
If I sell these pieces I have a few options:
I could get another pair of Waterman earrings, I am looking at these two possibilities:

My other option would be to start saving for a yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet. These price increases are getting crazy, so maybe I should think about purchasing one sooner rather than later Eeep! However this is the biggest investment on my wish list and I always thought I would save it for last. This would only be an option in the near future if I sold all four pieces.
I guess I am looking for an elegant and classy look, which is feminine but not too princessy. I welcome any thoughts or opinions. Thank you for letting me share, and sorry for such a long post!
