Hello all!

I have been a lurker for years. I want to finally share my growing collection and hopefully get some advice about what to keep and what to sell! I am trying to create a collection that will last me for years, and I feel wasteful having pieces that I don’t 100% love.

I would love to get your expert opinion because I am pretty sure my friends and family are tired of hearing about it LOL! I figured I would also post a lot of photos for those interested in using them for future reference! I love yellow gold (Jennifer Aniston is one of my jewelry inspirations) and I love casual nature inspired pieces, here goes!

My Cartier Trinity ring, the first piece I ever purchased. It is very special to me because I bought it from the Cartier flagship store in Paris. I am looking to pair it with a white gold Tiffany metro diamond band in the future.

Here are my thoughts about the ones I want to sell. I am definitely a picky perfectionist, which is frustrating. All of these pieces are very well made and beautiful, these are just my personal dislikes:

Cathy Waterman Daisy Earrings: they are cute but it bothers me that you can see the lever backs when my hair is up. Also, I wonder it they are too cutesy.

Cathy Waterman Baby Love: I purchased it before I purchased the larger version, and like the bigger size more.

Jennifer Meyer Small Leaf: I love the chain on this, but am getting a little bored with the leaf. Also, I think I prefer the richer look of the Waterman 22k pieces. I sometimes wonder if Jennifer Meyer pieces will stand the test of time or if they are a trend.

Jennifer Meyer Large Leaf: Not sure what to do about this one. I always thought I wanted it because I love the turquoise and the size. I think it looks better in pictures than in person though, I worry it looks a little like costume jewelry. I got it for a killer deal and think I could sell it for more than I paid, so I can’t tell if I am just trying to talk myself out of it for this reason.

If I sell these pieces I have a few options:

I could get another pair of Waterman earrings, I am looking at these two possibilities:

My other option would be to start saving for a yellow gold Cartier Love bracelet. These price increases are getting crazy, so maybe I should think about purchasing one sooner rather than later Eeep! However this is the biggest investment on my wish list and I always thought I would save it for last. This would only be an option in the near future if I sold all four pieces.

I guess I am looking for an elegant and classy look, which is feminine but not too princessy. I welcome any thoughts or opinions. Thank you for letting me share, and sorry for such a long post!

To be honest I love it all, don't sell any just try & save for a yg love bangle I love mine it's the best piece of jewellery I've ever purchased & cost per wear is great, can I also say I think yg really suits your skin tone, I love all your necklaces there gorgeous.

I think you picked the right ones to sell, if you are going to sell anything. You have a fabulous collection - congrats! Unfortunately I am not a fan of the love bracelet. I prefer the VCA alhambra, maybe a couple of plain gold bangles that you could stack with other pieces, or an Hermes clic-clac for a pop of color.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your beautiful collection!

I am a Cathy Waterman fan too! I have the white gold love earrings. I would definitely hold onto your Waterman love pieces--they just keep going up in price. I bought mine 5-6 years ago and the cost has gone up significantly since then.

I am not bothered at all by the lever backs on the Cathy Waterman daisy earrings. I'd keep them!

I don't know that I'd get rid of any of your collection, but like you I wonder if leaf design will be something you'll want to wear in 5 years.

Of the two Cathy Waterman potential purchases I'd get the second. I have a pair of her "blackened" earrings and I wonder if they will stand the test of time.

You have a lovely collection!
Personally, I love Cathy Waterman! Especially her "Thorn Initial" diamond necklace.
But as others have said...if you don't love it, get something you will love.

Gosh - we have the same taste, I love them all!

OT - I'm thinking of getting a Cathy Waterman 22k Juggler or Muse charm. But I prefer it on a Jennifer Meyer or Temple St. Clair Ball chain instead of the Lacy chain. Would the 22k Waterman charm look funny with an 18k gold chain?

You have beautiful taste! Out of your collection I might sell the daisy earrings, small leaf and small love necklace...you seem to already own pieces you prefer to those that occupy a similar purpose/style..

beautiful collection. but since you ask:

i dont care for the waterman daisy earrings or the small waterman necklace. just sort of too small and froufy and i dont like the leverbacks either. but i love everything else. I love the two Jennifer Meyer leaves and I think they would look good together on one chain!

I love your collection! I agree with your picks - the CW love pendant is beautiful, but you don't need two and you love the large one not the small one. I don't think the baby daisy earrings are "cutesy", but is sounds like the scale is wrong for you and you don't like the way the backs are. Any jewelry you naturally describe in negative terms needs to go. You love nature inspired pieces... have you ever looked at Karen Karch's designs? I've never seen them in real life, but some day I'll get to her store... http://www.karenkarch.com/Collections/By-Category/Earrings/Double-Vine-Hoop-Earrings/884

I agree with everyone that you have some gorgeous pieces! Sell what doesn't make you happy. As for what to get afterwards, I really love those sea serpent earring from CW but I think a Cartier Love bracelet will age better - much more timeless.

I die with that turquoise Jennifer Meyer leaf! Stunning! Hermesaholic has a good idea with mixing the two leaves.

I would rather have this collection than love but that's just my opinion.
Can you have the Waterman daisy earrings made into posts? I think they would be cuter than as dangles.
I love the leafed branch earrings and the love necklace. Great pieces you have. I am googling her right now!
