I will try to make this as short as possible. Fashionphile was selling this beautiful handbag in new condition. Because I was not familiar with this handbag, I purchased with a little hesitation, without authentication from an outside source. Before the handbag arrived I sent the link from Fashionphile to an authenticator to have authenticated along with certificate. The authenticator’s decision was that the handbag was counterfeit. I contacted Fashionphile and they put me in contact with their authentication department and after several pleasant email exchanges over 2 days with Fashionphile’s authentication department, discussing the handbag’s origin, I sided with Fashionphile’s authentication. They also offered a 100% refund even if the tag was removed if the authentication service would put in writing why they deemed the handbag counterfeit. I reached back out to the service but no response from them at all. Fashionphile informed me that this particular handbag is from the Gucci Garden capsule collection sold exclusively in Gucci Museum’s store in Italy, It was not sold in the boutiques or online; therefore no web presence. After days of research I found various sites confirming the capsule collection included the Dionysus in various designs. I was ecstatic to find 2 pics online of the Gucci Museum store with my handbag sitting on the shelf (pic is attached). WooHoo! I can only assume the authentication service I used is not familiar with the collection since it is not sold in boutiques or online. Unfortunately, I posted their findings in the Gucci authentication section, which I would love to have removed by the mods if possible, now that I am confident the handbag is authentic. The leather smells just like my Gucci Boston bag, so divine. The bag is definitely in new condition. I can’t see where it was ever used. Here are a few pics. Sorry I am horrible at taking pics. I can try again if anyone would like to see more pics. Enjoy!!

Glad that the experience didn't put you off the bag. It's a fabulous archive print, congratulations
Thank you so much papertiger. I was a little nervous at first but in the end I am beyond ecstatic to own such a rare gem. I was attracted to the bag the second I saw it on Fashionphile and then to see it in pics at the Gucci Museum shop was the cherry on top. This handbag will never leave my collection. It’s so beautiful in person.
