Reveal and First Impressions: 6 Key Case

Hi All,
I thought I'd show my new key case and give me initial thoughts. This is my first key case. It's the 6 ring key case in embossed textured leather in black cherry.
To start, I love the color. It could be described as a wine or ox blood. The hardware is light gold.

I'm not sure if the key ring at the bottom is supposed to fold into the case. It arrived that way, but it doesn't fold smoothly into the case. Anyway I decided to remove it.

The leather case is very think, even without keys. This could be great for durability, but potentially a issue in small bags. The case fits well into my wallet on chain if I leave the fob out. Not so much with the fob in the case, it was way too tight of a fit.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I probably won't use it in my smaller bags, but it seems great for every day usage.

It's very pretty, I have an old-school style one in red in the glove-tanned leather. The bigger fob on the end is meant to hold your thicker car key if you have one (I do so it's on this and I just leave it hanging outside for easy access).
The rest of my keys get tucked inside.

I love it, they are really handy. I had a Wilsons leather that lasted me forever (with the 6 rings) I finally wore it out. I will have to look in to one like yours. Was it a factory find or a boutique buy? I love the color of yours.

Where did you find it? Where there other colors.

It's a boutique item I ordered from the website. They also have it in gold.
