Reveal - 19 Year Old Speedy 25!

Hello :smile:

I made a post earlier asking which bag I should buy from a vintage luxury store in Amsterdam. My boyfriend is there right now on holiday and he happened to stumble on this store on his last day. Time is of the essence so I had to make a choice quick! I chose this Speedy 25 in monogram. We got her for 300 euro and are splitting the price as an anniversary gift to me.

I googled how to read LV date codes and my bag was made in September 1994. I'm ecstatic. She's in amazing condition for being 19 years old! I'm 19 in July and it's just crazy that this bag is older than I am! I think my boyfriend said that the lock doesn't go with it but she gave it to us anyways because the bag didn't have one and I guess she was feeling nice! The lock is worn but I think it looks nice because it matches the bag being worn.

Thank you! :smile: I actually had NO idea how old it was until after he bought it and I googled how to read the date codes. I'm so excited that she's older, I love that she's had a long history, makes her more special to me. I googled DE print and can't find a good picture! Do you mind linking me to a bag that has the DE print?
